WMU Bronco Head Coach Ron Stewart signed Miame and Robin Giden of Broadview High School in Illinois and Jazzmyn Harvey of Walther Lutheran HS of Bellwood, Illinois for the 2008 season.
Through the years Coach Ron Stewart has been able to field some of the best women's teams in the MAC and this years class hailing entirely from the Chicago area proves WMU basketball is expanding it's recruiting further and further from Michigan.
Of course recruiting inside the state of Michigan is very important but the ability to bring in quality talent to pad your base of local recruits is essential to the mission statement of winning championships on a collegiate level.
Miame Giden: 5-11 wing is ranked 74 overall nationally. (Averaged 16.3 Points, and 7.5 rebounds per game last season.)
Robin Giden: 6 Foot. (10.5 Points and 8.3 Rebounds.)
Jazzmyn Harvey: 5-8 Guard. (All-State Second Team)
